"Wrap Your Troubles In Dreams" was originally recorded by Bing Crosby in 1931. It’s a classic Depression-era tune whose message—you can get through troubled times by dreaming of better days—seemed pretty relevant for this moment in time. I've always loved this song for its pathos: while it offers an optimistic approach for dealing with hardship, it can also be interpreted as an appeal for escapism in the face of a harsh, frightening reality.
