So I escalator-ed to the second floor
And as I started down the aisle I hit wall decor
I saw:

I was halfway through the section when you phoned
So I lingered by those wall plaques filled with quotes
As you reminded me to pick up more dog food
I was swimming in this sea of platitudes

“If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again”
Well, it turns out the foam core was all gone
So I figured I’d resort to Amazon
And as I walked back through the mirrors, plaques, and signs
I spent a few more minutes soaking up the lines
